The studio has no roof, or rather, its roof is the sky. Instruments stand in the grass like a quiet congregation: anemometers, rain gauges, a barometer in a glass bell.
The artist works with weather the way a sculptor works with clay — shaping it only by being present, arranging the conditions, and letting the storm finish the piece.
What is made here cannot be collected or sold. It can only be witnessed. Which is, perhaps, the most generous definition of art there is.

Sculpting Weather
An artist whose studio has no roof — arranging the conditions, then letting the storm finish the piece.
